In our newest "how can we help you?" thread a reader asks:
What has happened to essay prizes (particularly ones for grad students)? Many seem to have stopped. Does anyone know why? Does anyone think this is a good/bad thing?
Hmm...I seem to recall a number of prizes disappearing from the APA's website during or just after the COVID pandemic, and I presumed the reason to be the sharp drop in the stock market (which could have affected investments that funded them?). But maybe I'm misremembering, and maybe that's not the reason?
Do any readers have any insights here? Also, if any readers know of any resources for tracking down essay prizes (including ones for grad students), please do feel free to share!

If I were to bet, I would put money in the existence of next round.

Annual Oxford Uehiro Prize in Practical Ethics also recently occurred.
Don't know about much more, but these two came to my attention.
