- Full-Time Temporary Lectureship (1 year with the possibility of renewal) in Interdisciplinary Studies
- 3 faculty positions available in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core, an academic program within the Honors College
- Teaching: 4/4. Interdisciplinary Studies. Teaching assignments could include courses within World Cultures, Natural World, Social World, and/or the World of Rhetoric sequences.
- The successful candidate will hold a terminal degree and have previous teaching experience in the teaching discipline of interest.
- Doctoral degrees in any field of the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities are encouraged to apply. We particularly encourage applications from the fields of Classics, History (especially non-Western), Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, and Biology.
- Strong candidates with a Ph.D in philosophy will have, for example, a background in the social or natural sciences, an AOS in a historical field with strong cultural knowledge of the historical period (non-Western fields especially encouraged), or experience teaching rhetoric, writing, and argumentation.
