It's been a while since I've written one of these, but I recently wrote a short "reply" piece to a journal article. As we have discussed before, one difficulty with replies is that most journals don't accept replies to articles in other journals. Consequently, unless you convert a reply into more of a "freestanding" article--something I'm really not interested in spending time on in the case at hand--one can generally only submit replies to the journal the original piece was published in, as well as the smallish number of other journals that consider them.
Anyway, because I'm in this position--yet I don't know which journals do accept replies to articles in other journals, and it would be quite time-consuming to google journal after journal--I though it might be helpful to "crowdsource" a list of such journals here.
So then: which philosophy journals (specialist or generalist) do you know of that consider straight-up replies to articles in other journals? Many thanks in advance to everyone who chimes in!
