I'm puzzled by the reference throughout to 'philosophers'; given the responses' provenance, what is shown is shown about anglophone philosophers only. Whether or not what's shown is worth the statistical effort is of course another question.

Hi Bob: it would be interesting to know whether there are differences across languages or cultures (Vaesen et al.'s study in Metaphilosophy seems to suggest so, although the questions they discussed were different from the one in the present study).
