I am happy to report that two posts by Cocooners are among the nine finalists for this year's 3 Quarks Daily philosophy blogging prize. The two Cocooner posts are:
- Justin Caouette's, "Moral Responsibility and Volunteer Soldiers", at A Philosopher's Take, and
- My, "The Case for Libertarian Compatibilism", at Flickers of Freedom.
Good luck to all! :)
Interesting to see such a difference in posts. Yours is a summary of a very detailed and intricate theory of free will that you have come up with, quite a feat! My post is more of an extended question and thought experiment about moral responsibility in the context of war. Not much in the way of argument...
Anyway, it will be nice to win some cash. Good on ya.

Hi Justin: I agree--it's a very interesting and diverse group of posts. By the way, I read and very much enjoyed your piece. Good stuff, and I wish you the best of luck! :)
